Carefolio helps organize records and user-confirmed plans. It does not diagnose conditions, identify loose pills by appearance, recommend treatment, or change doses. Verify important information with the original and ask a qualified professional about medical decisions.
PDFs, JPG/PNG images, text, and Word DOCX records are supported. Text and image recognition runs on the local server. Complex scans or handwriting may need manual correction. The source remains available for review.
Local extraction is the default. An optional configured OpenAI-compatible service can organize Chinese, English and mixed medical text. Only extracted text is sent, and only after you select AI and separately consent. The upload page names the provider; original files stay on this server.
Reminders in this edition require notification permission and an open, running website. Browser and device settings can delay or prevent alerts. Offline, background, SMS, and email delivery are not supported. Keep an independent reminder for time-critical medication.
